LAURA FETKO
Dance Instructor/Choreographer
Laura has been dancing since the age of 3 and grew up training at Riley’s School of Dance in Enfield, CT. Here, her love of dance grew deeper, Laura graduated from Dean College in 2014 where received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and an Associates Degree in Exercise Science. While studying at Dean she studied in an array of styles including Ballet, Modern specifically in Horton, Jazz, Tap and Hip hop. As well as had the opportunity to take classes in pedagogy,
creative movement, dance history and choreography. Laura has had the privilege of having her choreography showcased in Cambridge MA, as well as in The Works hosted by Jennifer Muller in NY. While living in Boston, Laura had the opportunity to be the Artistic Director and
Choreographer of Unyted Tekniques dance company. She has also worked as a choreographer in Chester, CT for the musical ‘Aladdin’. Laura has been teaching various styles for the past 12
years.
Laura has taken her love for dance and wellness deeper. She graduated from American International College in 2021 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Laura specializes in working with dancers for rehabilitation of injuries and for injury prevention. She has had the opportunity to become certified through NeuroTour to work with the traveling Broadway shows
when they come to CT. Some of the shows she has had an opportunity to work with include Rent, Hadestown, Waitress and Dear Evan Hansen to name a few.
When not in the studio, you can find Laura hanging out with her cat, hiking, running and spending time with friends and family.
